"As Architects, we give voice to our shared values in order to shape sustainable communities at the local, state, regional and national level."

Our goals as advocates of the architecture profession, and also as members of our community include:

• AWARENESS: Promote and facilitate awareness of issues impacting our practices, profession and the community, increasing public awareness for the benefits of good design;
• SUSTAINABLITY: Provide and facilitate opportunites for members and the public to contribute to improving the livability and sustainability of their communities;
• POLICY: Participate in influencing local and state regulatory policy related to the built and natural environments, such that individual practices, the profession of architecture and communities are strengthened;
• LEGACY: Encourage careers within the profession of architecture by assisting young adults with scholarships toward architectural higher education, engagement in mentoring opportunites and the development of future leaders to carry on the legacy of the profession.
